    The Vampire Ball spans 9 zones across 2 massive warehouse buildings, 2 floors, and their adjoining courtyard. The 2nd floor rooms tend to hit capacity early.

  • Showing up to The Vampire Ball without a costume is the surest way to become the next meal for a bloodthirsty creature of the night. No costume = enter at your own risk.

    All costumes welcome EXCEPT: Native-American Headdresses (‘War Bonnets’); blackface and weapons are strictly prohibited.

  • On our holiest night of our year, we call on you to rise above the messy rituals of the living and carry yourself to the highest degree of kindness and grace at our most esteemed Ball. Respect one another. Bring your best self. Behave with beauty. Drink more water. Pace yourself. Look after your Coven. Ask first before your bite or touch. 

    Welcome all to our Ball and don’t be an energy vampire. If you come across a Vampire who appears to have imbibed too much blood, show them the ways of our code and be magnanimous & gracious - even lend a helping hand. We are all in this together.

  • Be mindful that the Ball will be quite full between 11pm-2am. Behave with beauty and take your time when moving between stages. Shoving & pushing is lowly human behavior and unbecoming of a vampire. The best thing you can do is arrive early (between 9-10PM) to move freely between all our spaces before they reach capacity.

  • Find the Blood Rave experience in the CVLTVS House of Pain between 10:30PM - 3:30AM. To partake, walk up to the entrance of the activation and receive a wristband with a specific time to return. Read our extensive Blood Rave FAQ before participating: vampireball.nyc/bloodrave

  • Bring Cash to tip our dancers. There is no ATM on the premises. Find the Bank in the Fangtasia room to exchange large bills for singles. Never touch a dancer without getting consent first. Once again, bring cash to tip the dancer.

  • Put your phone away and be present. Visit the photobooths in CVLTVS / Blood Rave, or behind the stage of the Titty Twister Cabaret, to capture your look for the night. We will email photos to all attendees next week after they are delivered by photographers.

  • We have everything you need to imbibe and refuel. Find food in the courtyard. Outside food & drinks are prohibited.

    All bars operate on a cashless system. We use reusable cups for drinks to cut down on plastic waste. Reuse your cup for all drinks to avoid a $2 fee on additional cups.

  • Large bags & backpacks are not allowed unless they are completely clear. All bags will be searched upon arrival.

  • Secure your coats & belongings at automatic lockers at Coat Check. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Phone theft is a known issue at all NYC venues.  Be vigilant about securing your phone at all times in a secure front compartment that only you have access to.

  • Be aware of your own intake and check in with yourself. Look after your Coven. Emergency water is available at the Info Booth. Our EMTs are friendly, professional, & non-judgmental. Please come find them (marked on the map) if you need help.

TICKETING QUESTIONS

  • Premium tickets come with backstage access, expedited entry, complimentary coat check, access to The Crypt premium lounge, dedicated VIP bathrooms, and complimentary champagne all night.

  • Early Entry tickets will not be scannable after the arrival window has closed (either 9:30PM or 10:00PM, depending on your ticket type).

    You can either plan to arrive early (in accordance with the ticket you purchased), or pay to upgrade your ticket at the door.

  • We offer discounted 3-pack, 4-pack, and 5-pack group tickets on the Shotgun ticketing page. If you’d like to book a reserved table for your group, with drinks included, please email reservations@cityofgods.nyc

  • If you purchased group tickets, you and your friends may arrive separately. Make sure you transfer each ticket to each member of your group so everyone can arrive individually if needed. If you are arriving as bats, please transform to human form before you get to the door.

  • The following ticket platforms have a Resale system: Shotgun Tickets, DICE, and Resident Advisor. Should your plans change, you may use the Resale option.

    Some exclusions apply - group pack tickets are not eligible for resale at this time. Certain community restricted tickets may be non-transferrable.

    The ticketing platforms cannot guarantee that resale requests will be fulfilled; ticket resales are based on demand from other community members.

    Any tickets purchased outside of a first-party resale and transfer system cannot be guaranteed authentic, therefore we highly discourage purchasing tickets from individuals you do not know. 

    If you wish to sell/buy tickets within your group of friends, we encourage you to officially ‘transfer’ the ticket by changing the name & email on the ticket, so that the final ticketholder can receive important event updates.

  • All Sales Are Final. 

    If you can no longer use your ticket, you are welcome to sell it to someone else via your friend network. You may also put your ticket up for sale via the Shotgun, DICE, or Resident Advisor Resale program, but please note some exclusions apply and resale is not guaranteed.

  • Each ticketing platform (Shotgun, DICE, Resident Advisor, Eventbrite) has their own instructions for updating the attendee info on your ticket. Usually, you need to navigate to your profile and your ticket and update the name and email address there. Please reach out to the individual ticket platform where you purchased your ticket if you need further instruction.

  • Only tickets purchased on Shotgun Tickets are eligible for upgrades to General Admission, Anytime Entry, or Premium VIP. Check the Shotgun Ticketd app, and navigate to your ticket to see upgrade options.

    The 36th St Station (D/N/R trains) is one express stop from downtown Brooklyn’s transit hub connecting to 11 train lines + the LIRR:

    Conveniently located along the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and directly off BQE Exit 23.

    By Bat: 

    Look for the Statue Of Liberty and fly along the water until you see Industry City. Dismount on 2nd Ave.

  • Outside food & drinks are strictly prohibited. Food & drinks are available for purchase at the event. We serve all drinks in reusable CupZero cups - please keep your CupZero and reuse it for all additional drinks to avoid a $2 fee per drink.

  • Parking is available for free along 3rd Avenue. Paid parking is available in Industry City’s secure lot on 2nd Ave. You must have a physical credit card (rather than Apple Pay / digital wallet) to pay for parking in the Industry City lot.

  • Yes. Secure your belongings and use the Coat Check. Coats, items, and bags of any size are welcome to be checked. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • No Weapons*

    No Pets / Animals (certified service dogs must have proper documentation)

    *Fake weapons that are part of a costume should be soft and not be able to cause any harm.

  • Yes, and your ID must show that you are 21+ years of age.

  • Re-entry is not permitted. All exits are final. We have plenty of space to take dance breaks, get food, and reset within the venue.

  • The Vampire Ball has ramps throughout the space, including at entry. There are multiple ADA bathrooms that can be found on the festival map. If you ever need assistance with accessibility, please ask any security guard.

GENERAL EVENT QUESTIONS

  • The Vampire Ball is a timeless rite of the undead. For millennia, vampires have convened in secret to revel in shadow, to dance, drink, and surrender to the night. This Halloween, we invite you to join our ancient gathering as we transform a massive NYC warehouse complex into a macabre music and arts festival. We have summoned a menagerie of artists & music collectives to cavort across 7 stages, each pulsing with its own distinct music flavor and enticing side quests.

  • The Vampire Ball 2025 takes place at Industry City in Brooklyn. The programming is spread across a labyrinth of indoor & outdoor spaces spanning multiple cavernous buildings. Follow your senses to reveal your fate for the night.

  • Our 7 stages come in 7 uniquely different flavors, spanning house, techno, baltimore & jersey club, electro, EBM, italo, dark disco, uk bass, uk garage, neo perreo, disco, live rock and heavy metal, and sounds the defy categorization. In short, the music will be extremely good. Vampires don’t f*ck around when it comes to dancing.

  • Shotgun Tickets is our preferred ticketing platform. Tickets are also available on DICE, Resident Advisor, and Eventbrite, for a higher fee. Do yourself a favor and grab a Shotgun ticket.

    Fangbangers are welcome, but please, we like our dinner to look like a snack.

  • Vampires from every millennium are invited. The youngest bloodsuckers we can admit must be 21+ to enter, and have a valid form of ID from this century. There is no upper age limit; ancients, please don’t forget to brush the dust and cobwebs off your leather and velvet.

  • Yup, we are really doing a blood rave. You will be dancing as “blood” rains from above you.

    You will have the option to opt-in to participate. If this is not your thing, you can simply avoid the area where it all goes down. If this is your thing, come prepared to get messy.
